Melaleuca alternifolia “Tea Tree”

In 1985 on a tea tree plantation situated in the outskirts of Byron Bay, our very first Pure Essential Oil was harvested by hand, distilled and bottled.

The powerful healing and antiseptic properties [1] of the Melaleuca alternifolia “Tea Tree” plant was the beginning of something special for us.

Tea tree not only possesses antibacterial, antiviral, insecticidal, anti-inflammatory, and immune supportive properties [2], it also has a strong aroma reminiscent of the Australian land and country. Over thousands of years, Tea Tree has been used in bush medicine by Australia’s first peoples as a trusted natural resource to enhance total health.

Eucalyptus globulus “Eucalyptus”

Australia’s best known native, the Eucalyptus is in constant demand due to its beautiful leaves and invigorating and fresh scent. But Eucalyptus has so much more to give us.

Eucalyptus globulus Pure Essential Oil is supportive of breath as it acts to open the airways and help ease congestion. [3]

This may be why many common cold and flu products choose to include this within their formulations. Supporting healthy breathing patterns is intricately linked to mood and wellness, helping to regulate our bodies, and soothe our minds.
